New Member - Alzheimer's Prevention Program
It provides membership access to personalized online wellness coaching, including exercise tips and encouragement, nutrition recommendations, mindfulness techniques, habit management, and more. Additionally, members will have exclusive access to monthly in-person sessions led by Dr. Hemang Shah, during which he will discuss various topics surrounding Alzheimer's Disease prevention. Membership also provides access to downloadable pamphlets outlining essential issues, as well as private and public videos carefully selected by Dr. Shah.
Please note that the EverFit app is optimized for use on mobile devices, such as smartphones or tablets. It doesn't work on a computer or through a web browser.
Once you sign up for the program, you will get an email from EverFit. If you don't get an email, please check your spam folder first. You will need to download and activate your membership through EverFit. Please ensure that you use the same email address and provide your cell phone number during the sign-up process.
You are welcome to bring a loved one with you to our in-person group session. These sessions are held on the 4th Friday of each month, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., in Conference Room A, 2nd floor, Kernodle Clinic, Burlington, NC.

Hemang Shah
Dr. Hemang Shah is a neurologist in Burlington, NC. Dr. Shah has been passionate about brain health from an early age. He remembers riding a bicycle to the public library to read brain books, during summer vacation in his school days. He received his MBBS degree from M.P.Shah Medical College, Gujarat, India. Dr. Shah taught medical students and worked as a hospitalist before migrating to America. He did stroke research at UNC Chapel Hill. He did his Internal Medicine internship, Neurology residency, and Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta GA. Dr. Shah made some lifestyle changes to improve his brain health after seeing the devastating effects of neurodegenerative diseases on his loved ones. Alzheimer's Prevention Program is a humble attempt to extend his wealth of knowledge to others in a similar boat. He aims to empower the "Warriors" with the skills to improve their health span. Let's not just add years to our life, but life to our years.
