The Beginner's Guide to Fitness program is designed to allow clients to feel confident that they are moving properly, burning calories and building strength, as well as creating healthy routines that are easy to stick to due to the short but effective nature of these workouts.


Sometimes the hardest part of fitness is simply showing up. We’ve all got excuses as to why we didn’t workout yesterday (not enough time, work was crazy, the kids were driving me nuts, you know these well). I want this Challenge to be a stepping stone to get you out of that “I can’t workout because….yada yada yada” mentality, so that we create healthy habits that are going to last. I don’t want to overwhelm you with hour long workouts 5 days a week that you won’t stick to, because guess what, the best program or challenge you can do, is the one you’re going to stick to! 


Over the next 6 weeks, we will make it easy for you to show up to your workouts (because you’re only committing to 10-20 minutes, 3 days a week- you CAN put this time aside, think of how much time you spend on your phone a day...). If we can get you to do this, we will begin to instill healthy routines into your life that will LAST. That’s the key here. We want to figure out how we can build the habit of you showing up for your workouts first, then we will look at increasing time, increasing weight, working on progressive overload, etc. 


I know everyone wants that 4 week program that’s going to make them look like a supermodel for life, but that’s not reality. It takes time to build habits and change a (potentially unhealthy) lifestyle. But I promise you, if you start small and build a little bit at a time, you will get results. They may not happen overnight, but they will come, and you’ll feel all the better for having worked hard for them!


Ok, now what I need from you. If you're serious about getting results with this 6 Week Challenge, I want you to take 10 minutes to write down the answers to the following questions:


+ Are you willing to commit to 10-20 minutes, 3 days a week to your workouts? 

+ Can you commit to looking at your personal app calendar on Sunday nights to make sure the scheduled workout days line up with your schedule? (And if not, adjust accordingly).

+ What barriers are going to come up? (Time management, kids, motivation?) 

+ How are you going to overcome these barriers to stay consistent? (Put reminders in your phone, accountability partners- get someone else on board to do the Challenge with you!). What is going to work for YOU?

Meet Stephanie, the Founder of Change Fitness. Steph is a Strength and Conditioning Coach, Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism Coach, Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, and has a background in nutritional behaviour support. Steph's career has led her from the Australian Coast, to the East Coast waters of Canada, and back to the mountainous ranges of beautiful BC. Steph has worked in boutique personal training studios, boxing gyms and strength and conditioning studios, with her most recent endeavor being creating Change Fitness, where she continues to work in studio and virtually with clientele all around the world. Steph's expertise in coaching ranges anywhere from HIIT, Strength, Aerobic and Anaerobic Focused Training, Run Training, CrossFit workouts, Stretching, and mindfulness meditations. Steph take's a holistic approach when it comes to training her clients.
